2018 Clio

Bodegas El Nido was established in collaboration with the Gil family of Bodegas Juan Gil. Utilising mature plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, together with ancient Monastrell (Mataro) selections from the mountain valleys North of Jumilla. Clio is composed from 60-70% Monastrell, with finishing touches of Cabernet and Syrah. The individual parcels are matured  in an eclectic collection of new American and French barrels. The wine benefits from a few hours in a decanter prior to serving.
